Order and pay at the table
In venue, staff take the order and payment at the table on a Square Terminal. Booked guests can also order ahead and pay before they arrive.
When you'd use it
For dine-in and bar service, to take payment at the table without sending guests to a counter, and to let booked guests order ahead.
How it behaves
A member of staff picks the table and builds the order from the menu, which is synced from the venue’s Square catalogue with its items and modifier groups. They take payment at the table on a Square Terminal by card, or record cash or an external tender, and an optional tip can be added at checkout.
Booked guests can order ahead instead. They open a link before arrival, choose from the same menu and pay by card, so the kitchen has the order in advance.
